2. Principle

This website is deliberately built to collect as little as possible. It sets no cookies, embeds no third-party content, uses no analytics or tracking tools and contains no forms. There is consequently no consent banner — there is nothing to consent to.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., Švitrigailos g. 34, 03230 Vilnius, Lithuania. The server location is Frankfurt am Main, Germany. No personal data is transferred to a third country outside the EU or the EEA.

When the site is accessed, the hosting provider automatically collects data transmitted by your browser and stores it in log files:

  • truncated or full IP address of the requesting device
  • date and time of access
  • name and URL of the file retrieved
  • referrer URL
  • browser used, its version and the operating system

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free operation and the security of the website. This data is not combined with other data sources and is deleted automatically after a short period. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

4. Fonts

This website uses only fonts already present on your operating system. No font files are loaded and no connection is made to Google Fonts or any other font network.

5. Contact by email

If you write to me by email, I process your details solely to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on the legitimate interest in responding. I delete this data once the matter is closed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

6. External links

This website links to external services, including LinkedIn. Clicking such a link takes you away from this site; the operator of the target site alone is responsible for data processing there. No content from these providers is embedded in this website, so no data is transmitted without action on your part.

7. Encryption

For security reasons this website uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address bar starting with “https://”.

8. Your rights

You have the right at any time to
