ROI

Lead by goals and values.

batoon does the legwork across your stack, bound by your rules. This page makes the promise twice. Once as a calculation, for the head. Once as a working day, for the heart.

The shift

From legwork in twenty tools to leading.

Today With batoon
The goal sits on a slide. Execution is spread across tools, people and emails. The goal sits in the system. It becomes a plan that goes to the responsible role for approval.
Values such as brand, consent and contact frequency live in PDFs and in people's heads. Values live as rules in the policy gate and are checked before every action.
Control means asking around, maintaining spreadsheets, collecting screenshots. Control means five halts per run, one audit trail per run and one list of open decisions.
Impact is calculated afterwards, differently per channel, without a control group. One holdout across every channel and the net benefit per workflow and segment.
Approvals happen in chat, by gut feeling and availability. Approvals follow role, risk and amount, with the four-eyes principle.

The right-hand column is built and shown in the curated simulated world. None of it has run on real customer data yet.

For the head

Do the maths.

Four levers carry the business case. Each names the pain with its source, the mechanism in the product and the metric a pilot measures it by.

01

Coordination time

Pain today
A campaign runs across several systems and people. Hand-offs, alignment and approvals by email cost hours nobody books.
Mechanism in batoon
One goal becomes one plan. Tasks run in parallel waves. Approvals go to the role. The audit trail writes itself.
Metric in the pilot
Hours per campaign from brief to launch. Lead time.
02

Stack utilisation

Pain today
Marketers use only 33 % of their stack's capabilities (Gartner). Of roughly 50 Fortune 500 CMOs surveyed, none could quantify the ROI of their stack (McKinsey 2025).
Mechanism in batoon
Agents work through MCP with the systems you already pay for. Net benefit per workflow shows what a process delivers.
Metric in the pilot
Share of systems in use. Workflows with evidenced net benefit.
03

Approvability

Pain today
Only 21 % of companies have a mature governance model, 74 % want to deploy agents by 2027 (Deloitte). 95 % of GenAI pilots reach no P&L impact (MIT 2025).
Mechanism in batoon
Policy gate, approvals by role, audit trail with evidence, purpose binding and reportable matters with deadlines. That makes AI use approvable for compliance and data protection.
Metric in the pilot
Time to compliance sign-off. Rule violations the gate caught.
04

Budget discipline

Pain today
Spend limits apply per tool. Nobody sees what is spent across all channels together.
Mechanism in batoon
Budget cap per action and in total, frequency cap across channels, net-benefit check with measured rates before every delivery.
Metric in the pilot
Deviation plan to actual. Refused deliveries with negative expected benefit.

Your worked example

Enter your numbers.

The defaults are assumptions and meant to be replaced. The formula is below. The page stores nothing.

Inputs

Result per year

Coordination cost today
–
Coordination saved
–
Media budget preserved
–
Benefit per year
–
Payback of the Enterprise licence
– months

at €100,000 to €150,000 per year (Enterprise package)

The formula

  • Coordination cost per year = campaigns per month × 12 × people × hours × hourly rate
  • Coordination saved = coordination cost × share taken over
  • Media budget preserved = media budget per month × 12 × share preserved
  • Benefit per year = coordination saved + media budget preserved
  • Payback in months = licence ÷ (benefit per year ÷ 12)

This calculation is a model with your assumptions. There are no measured values from production use. The first pilot measures the four metrics above on a real stack, before and after.

For the heart

Lead instead of operating tools.

The value hangs on hand movements that disappear, and on one thing that arrives.

What goes away

  • Fourteen tabs and the question of which tool holds the truth.
  • The approval in chat that nobody can find any more.
  • The question from data protection that triggers a week of research.
  • The gut feeling about whether the campaign has already reached the same people three times.

What arrives

You write down what should be achieved and what must hold. The goal with its budget. The brand voice. Consent per channel. Contact frequency. Who may approve what. From there a team of agents works across your stack, and you decide at the five points where it matters.

In the product, values and goals are not a metaphor

Goal

Measurable goal with budget. Goal hierarchy for conflicts.

Values

Knowledge base with brand voice and playbooks. Guardrails, consent per channel, frequency limit, protection marks.

Responsibility

Approval matrix by role, risk and amount. Four-eyes principle.

Accountability

Audit trail with numbered evidence. Reportable matters with deadlines.

Per role

What changes for you.

Marketing lead
You lead a team instead of operating tools. Your head is free for goal and message.
CMO
Nothing spends money without knowing your limit. You see the net benefit per workflow, across every channel.
Compliance and data protection
You get the record instead of the follow-up question. Every decision carries reason and evidence.
Team
Less copying between tabs. More judgement at the points that need a person.
Agency
One tenant per client, the same rules, the same record. Leadership scales, manual work does not.

Limits

What this page does not promise.

  • No results from production use and no time saving in percent as a claim. The calculation above works with your assumptions.
  • No relief from responsibility. People decide at five points, and the audit trail records it.
  • No live execution. Everything described here runs today in the curated simulated world and with five systems read-and-draft only.
